Samatva Lecture Competiton 2026: Applications Open!
Our Lecture Competition is an intercollegiate competition for college students. Students present a 12 minute lecture + 3 minutes questions on life-science related subjects, including cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, biotechnology, and neuroscience. Topics should be interesting and exciting to a broader audience.
Any MSc students in the life sciences can apply through this form, and Samatva will select students from their application information. Maximum 20-25 students will be selected to present. The deadline to apply is August 10, 2026. Selected students will be informed by email/phone by August 12. Use of AI in this application is not allowed.
The 2026 Lecture Competition will be held at REVA University, Bengaluru, on August 18, 2026 at 9:30AM.

This competition increases students' confidence on the science topics the students are studying and researching. It also works to increase students' ability to communicate their scientific ideas effectively to a novice audience. 1st to 5th place prizes are awarded.
